A Bothell Main Street business is in shambles after a large silver truck drove through its storefront this morning.

Police on scene said that around 8:20 a.m. a male driver was backing out of a parking space in front of the Bothell Christian Science Reading Room in the 10100 block of Main Street when his foot slipped and he accelerated into the storefront.

No injuries were reported, intoxicants were not a factor and police said there are no criminal charges.

Jim Swanson owns the building and was on scene too. He said the Reading Room, located next to a salon, has been there for around 30 years.

There are currently no damage estimates, and surrounding businesses appeared to be unharmed.
